Five agents earn Million Dollar club honors
Milford, Pa., January 19, 2010— Marcia Distasi has earned the title of “Realtor of thE Year” for 2009 at WEICHERT, REALTORS® - Ruffino Real Estate. This is the fourth time out of five years that Distasi has taken a bow as the company’s top producer.

PEGGY GRIPPE DECEMBER’S ‘REALTOR OF THE MONTH’
Milford, Pa., January 5, 2010— Peggy Grippe has been identified as “Realtor of the Month” for December at WEICHERT, REALTORS® - Ruffino Real Estate. According to Realtor/Owner Donna Ruffino, “Peggy not only held the requisite open houses in December, she put the most WEICHERT, REALTORS® - Ruffino Real Estate listings into pending status.” Ruffino pointed out that the criteria for the monthly honor includes holding two or more open houses, “not an easy task during the holiday season.”
Grippe accepted the acknowledgement saying, “I am so excited about 2010; working with the Weichert team has been a super charged boost to my real estate career, giving me even greater confidence and the right tools to help buyers and sellers achieve their real estate needs.”
Grippe celebrated 10 years in the business in July 2009 and has been with the Milford office for 18 months. This is not the first time she has earned the Realtor of the Month award.

Newly named “Team Advantage” partners stay on top of education for today’s market
Milford, Pa., November 12, 2009—Gene Tick and Angelina Pilz, Realtors with Milford’s WEICHERT, REALTORS® - Ruffino Real Estate, have been awarded the Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE) designation. Introduced in 2006 by national trainer and coach Tom Hayman’s Negotiation Expertise,
LLC, the CNE has earned recognition as one of the top new designations in the real estate field.
According to Hayman, meeting the course requirements provides graduates with
professional negotiation techniques, approaches and skills to achieve the best possible outcomes
given the
market situation and their client’s personal situation. The training is tailored to address real
estate negotiation situations and includes hands-on practice in role plays and case studies.
Tick and Pilz are now equipped to negotiate “superior win-win outcomes” for their clients,
after completing the requirements of more than 250 pages of negotiation and CNE marketing
materials first-hand.
Many agents who take the CNE seminar rate it the best training experience of their real
estate career, Pilz said. Tick agreed that the knowledge obtained can be used in virtually any negotiation inside or outside of real estate. The two Realtors have joined forces to become “a powerhouse listing team,” Ruffino said, with the new moniker of “Team Advantage.” Together they
felt they could best keep up with all new negotiating tactics in what they call a “new market,”
an economy that is very different to sellers and buyers, one which many have never experienced.

Milford, Pa., May 12 10, 2009— Anne Marie Bartlett and Marcia Distasi frequently recognized top sales agents
with WEICHERT, REALTORS® - Ruffino Real Estate, partnered on Open Houses in April to earn the shared title of
“Realtor of the Month” for their efforts. “And their efforts were considerable,” said Owner/Realtor Donna Ruffino. The
Realtors campaigned especially hard in April, making calls to invite people personally, doing mailings, and hanging door-knockers throughout the community.
The Open House weekends “are a major part of what makes Weichert work,” Ruffino said. The entire Weichert procedure includes preparation, execution and follow-up, a “formula” that is unique to the real estate industry. “Without
giving away trade secrets,” she said, the strategy demands that agents schedule the open house, and then follow a multi-step
plan of marketing, from balloons through a system of sign placement at key intersections. They have to BE there, as well.
On site, they address the home’s affordability by promoting Weichert’s financing expertise, following up with prospective
customers to answer questions and arrange second visits.

Milford, Pa., April 4, 2009— Agents from Weichert, Realtors® - Ruffino Real Estate took bows at the
annual banquet hosted by the Weichert® Mid-Atlantic Broker Council on March 13. Held at Longwood Gardens in Kennett, Pennsylvania, the event named the recipients of awards from Weichert Real Estate Affiliates in several
categories, based on minimum requirement per category in gross commission income or units earned among the
franchise organization’s more than 7,000 associates in 36 states at year’s end.
Five of the agency’s Realtors were honored with trophies as inductees into the national organization’s
Executive Club, one of the three top awards categories system-wide for agents. Marcia Distasi,
Anne Marie Bartlett, Gene Tick,received these honors.
Peggy Grippe and Angelina Pilz each earned a Sales Achievement Certificate from Weichert Affiliates as
2008 inductees into the Certificate Club.

Milford, Pa./Atlanta, Ga., April 28, 2008--Realtor®/Owner Donna Ruffino, along with Realtor® Marcia Distasi of WEICHERT, REALTORS® - Ruffino Real Estate in Milford, joined representatives from franchised Weichert® offices in 36 states at the national convention of Weichert Real Estate Affiliates, Inc. The three-day "Mission Possible" themed event was held at The Hilton Atlanta, in honor of the organization's franchises and their more than 7,500 agents serving markets from coast to coast. Weichert Real Estate Affiliates launched its first franchise in January 2002.
Weichert affiliates President Martin J. Rueter made one of his always greatly anticipated surprise entrances on day one. At the end of a video replication of the famous TV show, "Mission Impossible," which was restyled to represent "the search for a buyer," Rueter walked out on stage in person in raincoat and hat, seemingly right off the screen--to thunderous applause and laughter at the hilarious film.
Rueter's welcoming address and state-of-the-market and of Weichert included that the franchise remains among the fastest growing, according to Entrepreneur magazine, and was recently named a "2008 Trendsetter" by the Swanepohl Report. An agenda of speakers, skill building sessions and "secrets from Weichert's best managers, brokers and agents" followed, including keynoter Floyd Wickman, who brought his three decades of experience and wisdom wisdom to the group, and Giovani Livera, whose inspirational and humorous message is a staple on the speaker circuit.

"Everyone was very upbeat, and demonstrated to me that professionalism is still a requisite," Rueter said at the end of the event. Milford Weichert® office raises needed funds for MDA, springs owner from jail Milford, Pa., April 28, 2008
WEICHERT, REALTORS® - Ruffino Real Estate Realtor/Owner Donna Ruffino's friends, staff and sales associates raised enough bail money to release Ruffino from the Milford lock-up after a short stay. Ruffino had volunteered to spend time behind bars in support of the Muscular Dystrophy Association's annual fundraiser. She was set free on April 17, saying, "Many thanks to everyone who knows how important Jerry's Kids are and came through with my bail money." MDA serves people in the local community by providing clinics, support groups, assistance with the purchase and repair of needed equipment, and summer camp for kids. The organization also funds research grants to help find treatments and cures for some 43 neuromuscular diseases that affect people of all ages.
